Vaduz, October 2026
The Liechtenstein Trust Integrity Network (LTIN), the sovereign blockchain infrastructure majority-owned by Telecom Liechtenstein, is developing an organisational identity service on the Solana network. The service will let applications built on Solana confirm which real, named organisation stands behind a wallet, within the same transaction flow, using the Solana Attestation Service. It is aimed at institutions such as treasury desks, fund administrators and corporate finance teams, for whom knowing the counterparty is a precondition for transacting at all. The service is currently in development, with testnet and mainnet availability to follow, and the software will be available to any user of the Solana network.
Why counterparty identity matters
Solana is built for fast, low-cost settlement, and a wide range of economic activity already runs on the network. What has been harder to establish is a reliable answer to the question of who a wallet actually belongs to. For many consumer applications that question can go unanswered. For institutions it is the first question rather than the last, and the lack of a good answer has kept a category of institutional activity on the sidelines.
Today, identity checks usually sit in an out-of-band compliance process that can run days behind the settlement it is meant to govern. LTIN's goal is to move that check to the point of transaction, without asking anyone to give up the speed and cost that make the network attractive.
"Organisational identity has been the quiet blocker for institutional adoption, because no serious counterparty is going to transact at scale with an address it cannot attach a name to. We are building this on Solana because that is where the activity already is, and we are building it so that any team on the network can use it rather than keeping it to ourselves." Marc Degen, Program Lead, LTIN
How it will work
LTIN will issue identity attestations for organisations and record them using the Solana Attestation Service, the network's shared standard for creating and checking on-chain attestations. An application can then check whether a counterparty's wallet carries a valid organisational attestation as part of its normal transaction logic. Because the check is automated and happens in the same flow as the transaction, identity keeps pace with settlement instead of trailing behind it.
Regulated, sovereign infrastructure
An attestation is only as credible as whoever issues it. LTIN operates under Liechtenstein's Blockchain Act in alignment with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR). Behind the service sits Telecom Liechtenstein's national infrastructure, operated on renewable energy and held within European jurisdiction, which gives institutional users a clear answer to where their identity data lives and which law governs it.
Open to the whole ecosystem
A shared trust anchor is valuable because everyone can rely on the same one. Identity infrastructure that only one company can use does little to raise trust across an ecosystem, so the software LTIN is building will be available to any user of the Solana network and to third parties. LTIN supplies the underlying capability and leaves others free to build the products on top of it.
Get involved
LTIN is looking for applications and institutions building on Solana that want to integrate organisational identity checks early. Teams interested in testing the service as it reaches testnet can get in touch at ltin.li
